Consider joining me this year at the fair for opportunities to setup, teardown, and tract distribution. IowaGO! is a large-scale gospel outreach initiative that takes place inside the Iowa State Fair, scheduled for August 12-24, 2026. Managed by Tulip Gospel Outreach, the program utilizes "creation evangelism" to engage with a portion of the fair's estimated 1.2 million annual visitors. The outreach centers on a prominent 20x20-foot booth in the Varied Industries Building featuring a 10-foot scale model of Noah's Ark. The initiative integrates specialized training via "Testify Training Camps" as well as tract distribution during the State Fair parade.

Event Overview and Core Objectives

The primary mission of IowaGO! is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with unbelievers and encourage believers through the distribution of literature and personal interaction. The outreach employs "creation evangelism" and "Way of the Master" methodologies, focusing on biblical accounts of creation and the flood to establish a foundation for the gospel.

Key booth features

Located at booth 156 near the main west entrance of the Varied Industries Building, the outreach space is designed to attract high foot traffic through several specific features:

Noah's Ark Model: A 10-foot-scale model of Noah's Ark featuring two O-scale trains to illustrate the vessel's immense size as described in Genesis 7.

Educational Media: Videos displaying creation-based content and a clear gospel message.

Literature Distribution: Three tables dedicated to free tracts, videos, and other resources. We distribute approximately 100,000 items annually.

Youth Engagement: Provision of dinosaur tattoos for children that communicate the message of God that created both humans and dinosaurs on "Day 6."
